When Adria Czerewaty, owner of Synchronnection, wed Norse Energy Inc. CEO and chairman Oivind Risberg recently in the Norwegian village of Gravberget, the Texas accent extended beyond the bride's "I dos."

The bride's father, Frank Czerewaty, and her brother, Brian, represented the family while Mark Hanna of Customer First stood in as the bride's best man in place of a matron of honor.

In addition, Houston's Who Made the Cake? shipped over two 12-inch high chocolate toppings fashioned in the design of Risberg's family crest for the groom's cake. Kronberg's Flags sent eight full-sized flags, featuring the family crest, to be flown in the village on the wedding day. And for a touch of Tex-Mex, Berryhill Baja Grill shipped tamales with hot sauce for the Houston contingent.

Norwegian newspapers loved the Texas-Norway match. The wedding made front-page news in two of the local papers. Did we mention that everyone — including the Houstonians — wore native Norwegian dress for the wedding and dinner celebration that followed?
